The latest evolution of the BT-016 is here...the new 'BT-016 Pro Hyper sport tyre' is a true evolution of real MotoGP technology into a tyre that's available to the masses!
Utilising Bridgestone's cutting edge MotoGP technology the latest evolution of the BT-016 features a new compound containing a combination of two special components, Silica Rich Ex and RC Polymer. These components help to massively improve both dry and wet weather performance, whilst also improving tyre longevity and reducing performance 'drop-off' (ensuring the highest levels of performance for the whole life of the tyre).
Bridgestones multi-layer compound construction on the 'BT-016 Pro' delivers noticeably better contact feel, feedback, stability and grip. With both the front and rear tyres featuring this three-layer compound (3LC), their harder centre compound results in good stability and longevity, which is flanked either side by a softer shoulder compound to provide high levels of grip and bump absorption. The improved contact patch at all lean angles provides masses of traction allowing you to transfer the bikes power to the road, whether your straight lining or exiting corners hard on the gas!
The tread pattern features 's' shaped diagonal grooves for light handling, rich feedback and good wet weather performance. The whole package is designed to add mileage for commuters as well as grip for fast road riders and track day thrill seekers.
